While Jack has always been honored and delighted to share his art with the world (and the world wide web), Painted Lady maintains the below standards and procedures for image distribution.
(This is the part where we recite all the things the lawyers told us to say)
ALTERATION OF IMAGES FOR ANY PURPOSE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED
1. First and foremost there is no permission granted for alteration of images under any circumstance. This includes, but is not limited to, PSP tubing (the act of extracting a figure or object from a larger image and transplanting it onto a transparent background) and/or Photoshop manipulation
to create avatars, email or bulletin board signatures, digital stationary, logos, personal weblogs or webpages, or any other use regardless of whether it is for personal or public use. Alteration of Henslee images is strictly prohibited by international copyright law. Images defaced in this manner do not allow for a virtual watermark, generally display no acknowledgement to the artist, and ignore or manipulate the intent of the original piece. It is a disrespectful molestation of someone else's creation. Any previous permission that may have been granted for this type of application whether written or implied is hereby revoked. If you see Jack Henslee images exploited in this manner, please notify

2. If you are a member of a PSP or graphics group on Yahoo, MSN or any other digital community, please post this Henslee image use policy to your group so that your members will know
Jack does not grant permission for the alteration of Jack Henslee images for any
purposes. We understand you cannot police your members any more than we can police the internet, but we also know that many groups make an honest effort to abide by the express wishes of artists. Educating your members to the wishes of various artists is greatly appreciated.
LINKING TO PAGES WITHIN PAINTED LADY
1. You do not need permission to link to pages on this site. However, we do ask that you let your visitors know that they are entering an adult area. Henslee erotic images are intended for a mature audience.
2. The images featured within Painted Lady Gallery may be updated or changed regularly without notice. You should check your links often to make sure the images you’re linking to are still exhibited.
3. Hotlinking to specific images is not permitted. Bandwidth theft is stealing and hotlinking to images is a violation of copyright. Learn more about copyright issues and bandwidth abuse here:

GUIDELINES FOR DISPLAY OF IMAGES
1. To obtain permission to host one or more Henslee images on your site, send an email request to
imageinquiry@paintedlady.com. Be sure to include the proposed site where the images will be hosted (if applicable, please include a temporary password and username), as well as your name and affiliation (owner/operator, designer, etc.).
2. If permission to display images is granted, it is only with the understanding that you will respect and abide by the following requirements:
 Do not hotlink to images on this site. You must host the images on your own server.
You may only use images that are clearly imprinted with a Painted Lady Gallery watermark. You may not remove or cover this watermark.
Do not alter any Henslee images. You may resize them to accommodate your design so long as doing so does not warp the images, but you may not crop, retouch, or embellish the images in any way.
With each image, you are required to include the work title(s), as well as a copyright permission statement. It must be in plain view and in close proximity to the image(s). It should read: Copyright Jack Henslee, Painted Lady Gallery. Used with permission.
A reciprocal link to the Painted Lady Gallery is required. Where available, the picture itself should link to: http://www.paintedlady.com. If the images are not click-able, an appropriate text link should be provided.
Permission can be denied or rescinded at the artist's discretion. Upon notification, you agree any specified images will be immediately removed.
